I am a 1991 graduate from Ouachita Parish High School in Monroe. I am a 1995 Elementary Ed. Grades 1-8 Graduate of Northeast Louisiana University aka ULM. I am a 2008 Library Science Graduate of Northwestern State University.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Ed. Grades 1-8 degree from NLU, and I have a Library Science Degree from NSU.
I started my teaching career at Lakeshore Elementary August 1995. This is my 29th year in the Ouachita Parish School District – all at Lakeshore Elementary. I taught 3rd grade for 14 years, and now, I have been the Library Media Specialist for 15 years.
I am married to Lt Col Mark S. Hart (RET) who is the JROTC Instructor at West Monroe High School.
We have 4 sons: Caleb (30) is married to Jennifer and they live in Denver, CO. Luke (24) lives in Hannibal, MO. William (20) is a Music Ed. Major at Louisiana Christian University. Wesley (18) is a Senior at Ouachita Parish High School. We have 1 lab named Bear.
My Hobbies include: Playing the piano, spending time with my family, and going with our boys to their events. I also love to play Candy Crush, Wordscapes, and Sudoku.
